Roles: Planning Consultancy
The 3BM planning team was appointed by Bond Bryan Architects, on behalf of Kent County Council, to project manage a complex redevelopment proposal for the co-location of three large-scale secondary schools onto a single site within the Green Belt, situated adjacent to a Conservation Area and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
3BM Planning successfully justified the scheme, despite being a departure from the Development Plan, leading to a planning permission which included the first new off-site grammar annexe in the country to be granted permission in over half a century.
3BM Planning continues to assist with planning on-site, most recently obtaining planning permission for 2 new floodlit FA accreditation all-weather pitches and conversion of agricultural land into a new school playing field.
