3BM Planning project managed a number of sensitive planning applications relating to this Grade II Listed site, listed as ‘Ursuline Convent School’. As well as being listed, the site designated as ‘Green Wedge’ within the development plan, and contains several wooded areas and boundary landscaping covered by Tree Preservation Order.
The school carried out a significant feasibility exercise to identify the site’s opportunities and limitations, which culminated in a series of planning applications for full planning permission and Listed Building Consent. The various projects involved some demolition works, landscape adjustments and improvements, alterations and improvements to the internal layout of the Listed building, and appropriate external alterations to the historic buildings.
